Trafico App - Realtime crowdsourced traffic and social stream
#Trafico is a real-time traffic crowsourced mobile application. It was designed to provide real-time traffic conditions in the big crowded cities in Latin America.
Most of Latin American cities lacks realtime systems to provide traffic layers as Google Maps does in USA, Canada a other eurorean countries. This application tries to emulate just that, using the information provided by the user with its own device.
Twitter users have implemented certain hashtags in some cities to follow traffic incidents, these feeds are shown based on user's location.
#TraficoApp also provided an easy way to report traffic conditions, incidents or accidents. Safety while driving is our most concern so it relies on different geolocation Api's to generate a full georeferenced traffic report with only 3 taps and no typing.
